Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL Is Expected To Launch on May 7
With the Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL rumors now whipping us up into a frenzy, the upcoming mid-range device is set to offer much of the same experience as the excellent Pixel 3 and 3 XL, but without the associated price-tag.
As for the upcoming Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, there’s a lot of information about these two devices floating around the Internet (some leaked from sources, while others from Google itself) and we’ve already gathered it all here for you. The biggest trump card in Google’s arsenal is obviously its camera technology, more software than hardware driven, but you can expect the same performance from the Pixel 3a lineup.
Expected Price Of Google Pixel in India
The Canadian pricing for both the variant of the Pixel 3a recently found its way online and we’re looking at a price tag higher than we may have expected. The Pixel 3a (4GB+64GB) is expected to be priced at 649 CAD (roughly Rs 33,000) whereas the Pixel 3a XL with the same configuration will retail at 799 CAD (roughly Rs 41,500).
There’s no new information to be gleaned here really, only confirmation of details we already knew. The devices have sizable bezels, a headphone jack on top, USB-C port on the bottom, and buttons on the right side, power over volume up and down (which appear to be separate buttons rather than a rocker, but that’s likely just a feature of the case). Unlike the regular Pixel 3 and 3 XL, there’s only one front camera and no dual front-facing speakers. What we see here is likely just an earpiece, with the loudspeakers expected to be on the bottom either side of the charging port (possibly even just a single mono one).
We’re expecting both phones to ship with an upper mid-range Qualcomm processor (perhaps the SD670 or SD710) and 4GB of RAM. The 3a is rumored to have a 5.6-inch screen while the XL model is likely to have a display nearer 6 inches diagonally. Their success will certainly depend on the pricing, which we’ll be eager to learn on May 7.
